Before you call
Ask for a written quote — you need two of them for HVMP, and it costs nothing. Ask what's included: electrical work, removal of the old fixture, permits, and what happens if the install runs into a structural problem. Ask about lead time; a refurbished or rented unit is often much faster than a new one.
If funding is part of your plan, read the order to apply in first — applying to the programs in the wrong sequence can cost you money.
